So you think you can Hillary?

I love new ideas, I thrive on change. But I see the change in pocket disappearing with Senator Hillary Clinton's new "American Health Choices Plan" You can read all about it here: http://www.hillaryclinton.com/feature/healthcareplan/ And I hope that you will take the time to review it. There isn't much to it, really. Hillary is gonna give everything to us...no pre existing conditions, guaranteed coverage, and tax credits but how are WE gonna pay for all of this? This isn't a mention of higher taxes, (what good PR firm would share the financial details with us stupid Americans).

Hillary mentions the "same health plan that Congress receives". Sign me up baby! That plan is working like a charm! Their rates never increase, everything is covered and no one has pre existing conditions....I wonder how much that plan costs us as tax payers?

Many tout the Medicare system and how wonderful that system works for seniors....but Doctors are refusing to take Medicare. They say that they cannot stay in business with the low reimbursements that Medicare pays. If Hillary won't raise our taxes to pay for her plan, how does she expect it to work? Will doctor's take a pay cut? Will we have to ration care?

I don't deny that the US system in broken but I'm not convinced that a single payer system will work.

I think we should lock some smart people in a room and don't let them out till they come up with something new. Better yet, let's ask a bunch of 5th graders to do it...they are kicking our butt on that TV show.
